About Pre-Pack Evaluators
Pre-Pack Evaluators was established to fulfil the statutory role of evaluator created by the 2021 Regulations, with a simple goal: to make the evaluator report process as clear and supportive as possible during what can be a challenging time.
When a company enters administration and the proposed sale of its business or assets is to a connected person — whether a director, shadow director, associate, or connected company — the law now requires independent scrutiny before the transaction can proceed. Under the Regulations, an administrator cannot complete a substantial disposal to a connected party within the first eight weeks of administration without either creditor approval or a qualifying report from an independent evaluator.
We exist to fulfil that role. We provide the independent, expert evaluation that the Regulations demand — examining whether the consideration and the grounds for the disposal are reasonable in the circumstances — while ensuring everyone involved feels informed and supported throughout.
